Plucky Rosenthal is an award-winning musical comedy variety act, specializing in bringing her signature warmth and vintage-tinged original songs to rooms across the country.
A semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award, she hosts and produces the music trivia game show Sounds Like a Plan! at the Newport Theater and performs regularly at The Drifter. National credits include: the Minnesota Fringe Festival, the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Fest, the Elgin Fringe Festival (Spirit of the Fringe Award winner), IndyFringe, the Old Greeny Fringe Festival (Ithaca, NY), & Artscape Baltimore. Local credits include: the Neo-Futurists, the Green Mill, Zanies, the Lincoln Lodge, the Hideout, Constellation, the Old Town School of Folk Music, the Actors Gymnasium, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, the Jewish United Fund, the Chicago Cultural Center, & as a host and opener for films at the Music Box Theatre. As a ukulele musician, she's played music at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, Lookingglass Theater Company, Lurie Children's Hospital, Misericordia, and senior care facilities.
